Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Vorg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zues Ziegfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ziegfield has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergei Vorg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zues Ziegfield!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziegfield missing with a left hand there. Vorg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vorg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ziegfield as he avoids it easily.
Vorg moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Ziegfield does it's job there.
Ziegfield lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vorg circles away quickly and effectively.
Vorg shoots in and drives through. Ziegfield sprawls well.
Vorg takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some wild striking there from Ziegfield.
Vorg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ziegfield as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergei Vorg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ziegfield looks to score with a jab to the body but Vorg is just out of range.

Vorg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vorg with the ground and pound but Ziegfield regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Ziegfield pushes Vorg off looking to stand but Vorg dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ziegfield keeping hold of Vorg's head, controlling as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vorg is trying to control the action in half guard but Ziegfield is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ziegfield has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vorg is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zues Ziegfield.
Ziegfield stuffs the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ziegfield throws a nice looking combination but Vorg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vorg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ziegfield misses with a double jab.
Vorg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ziegfield as he jumps to the side.
No luck for Vorg with that takedown attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ziegfield darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Sergei Vorg has been cut.
Ziegfield lands a jab to the head.
Vorg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ziegfield.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Ziegfield has cracked Vorg with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Ziegfield lands another huge swinging hook and Vorg tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Vorg, before Ziegfield can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zues Ziegfield!
