PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Syrelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kshymensky comes to the cage accompanied by no mercy T.I. Syrelius has chosen Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Kshymensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carl Syrelius!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kshymensky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Syrelius avoids it really well and circles away.
Kshymensky throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kshymensky tries to keep at a distance but Syrelius has taken the fight into the clinch.
Syrelius throws an elbow that misses.

Kshymensky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Syrelius sprawls well. Syrelius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kshymensky gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Kshymensky will probably get the nod.

Carl Syrelius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Syrelius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
