Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rich Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Petrov is trying to defend but Daddy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Petrov works his way to full guard. Good work.
Daddy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Petrov tries a head kick but it misses.
Petrov keeps the fight on the outside.
Daddy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Petrov avoids it really well and circles away.
Petrov has closed the distance and engaged Daddy in a clinch.
Daddy is trying to break the clinch but Petrov is controlling him.
Petrov lands an elbow that stopped Daddy in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Rich Daddy has been cut.
Petrov wants a takedown but no success here.
The referee calls for Petrov to work.
Daddy fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Petrov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Daddy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daddy shoots in for a takedown but Petrov shows good takedown defense.
Petrov lands a big head kick that sends Daddy tumbling to the mat! Petrov takes a step backwards and waves Daddy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Daddy is rocked!
Daddy tries to clinch there but Petrov circles away.
Oh Daddy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petrov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Daddy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Daddy seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Petrov wants to stand but Daddy is controlling the position.
Petrov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Daddy passes Petrov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Petrov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Daddy escapes and gets back to his feet.

Petrov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Daddy looks to score with a jab to the body but Petrov is just out of range.
Petrov shoots and misses
and Daddy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Petrov won't be happy with that.

Daddy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Petrov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Petrov is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Petrov tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Daddy presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Daddy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Daddy wants to control the pace but Petrov is squirming around nicely.
Daddy avoids the attempt from Petrov to control.
Daddy lands a big shot there that rocks Petrov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Daddy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Petrov is on top in guard.
Daddy pushes Petrov off and gets back to his feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Petrov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Daddy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Petrov has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Daddy has passed into side control.
Daddy tries to move to mount but Petrov blocks the move with his legs.
Petrov tries to buck Daddy off but Daddy is having none of it.
Petrov can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Petrov is not content to let Daddy control the position.

Petrov tries to escape but Daddy is in control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Petrov has managed to clinch.
Petrov jumps guard.
Daddy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Petrov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Daddy drops back looking for a leg! Petrov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Petrov manages to kick Daddy off! Daddy jumps back into Petrov's guard.

Rich Daddy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Daddy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Petrov pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Daddy gets underhooks to prevent Petrov's takedown attempt.
Petrov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Daddy throws a head kick but Petrov moves out of range.
Petrov closes the distance and clinches.
Petrov decides to pull guard.

Petrov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ivan Petrov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Petrov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
