Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Vitor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeorge Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vitor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pregador Luo - Apaga Mas Não Bate. Joao Vitor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruno has managed to clinch.
Vitor manages to break the clinch.
Vitor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vitor lands in his opponent's guard.
Vitor passes Bruno's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bruno looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Vitor is thwarting Bruno's attempts to control the position.
Bruno is refusing to be controlled, as Vitor sits in half guard.
Vitor seems to be working for a kimura but Bruno defends the submission attempt.
Bruno tries to roll over but Vitor keeps him under control.
Vitor with the ground and pound but Bruno uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Bruno pushes Vitor off and scrambles back to his feet.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Vitor.
Vitor is looking to take a break and control but Bruno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bruno is pushing Vitor's head away, looking to escape. Vitor manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vitor controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vitor working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Vitor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bruno is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bruno stops Vitor from passing to mount.
Bruno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vitor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vitor works to advance to full mount. Bruno defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bruno is in all sorts of trouble here.
Vitor is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bruno to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bruno shrugs it off.
Vitor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bruno is looking to escape.
Vitor prevents Bruno from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bruno is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
A nice elbow there by Vitor.
Bruno really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
BOOM! Vitor connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Vitor is landing with some decent strikes but Bruno is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bruno looks gassed!
Bruno is trying to reverse the position but instead Vitor has taken his back - oops!

Vitor is working the ground and pound. Can Bruno escape?
Vitor has Bruno flattened out and is raining down punches.

Vitor trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Bruno fending off the submission attempt from Vitor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Vitor. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Bruno wants to control his opponent's hands but Vitor gets his hands free.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vitor looking to break Bruno's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bruno remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Vitor will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Vitor is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bruno with him. Bruno is trying to defend but Vitor has an arm under the chin now! Bruno grimaces and is forced to tap out!
