The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDanial throws a right hand that Dean ducks under and follows up with a left that Dean also avoids with ease.

A head kick lands from Dean that sends McDanial to the canvas. McDanial tries to scramble back to his feet but Dean brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Scott McDanial has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McDanial takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dean works to advance to full mount. McDanial defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Dean lands a heavy shot. That's hurt McDanial! Dean sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless McDanial and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
