The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luffy shoots in for a double leg but Wukong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wukong tries to bum rush Luffy with a series of wild strikes but Luffy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown by Luffy or perhaps it was just good defense by Wukong which made him look bad.
Wukong is looking to slow Luffy down with leg kicks.

Luffy feints and as Wukong raises his hands in defense, Luffy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wukong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
