Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Dai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Matson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dai's entrance music is Dignity. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matson tries to avoid it but Dai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matson to the ground. Matson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dai.
Matson swings for the body but Dai moves out of range.

Dai with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matson to score with a decent uppercut.

Dai has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Matson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dai.
