Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toivo Haapasalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haapasalo's entrance music is Motorhead - Killed By Death. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Haapasalo cracks Hardy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice uppercut lands for Haapasalo. That snapped Hardy's head back.

Hardy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haapasalo. That did some damage!
Haapasalo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hardy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Haapasalo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hardy tries to move into range but Haapasalo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hardy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Haapasalo throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.

Haapasalo throws a leg kick which misses Hardy's front leg but catches the back leg as Hardy tries to avoid it.
Haapasalo is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Haapasalo, as that shot connected.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A head kick from Haapasalo lands but Hardy takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Haapasalo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Haapasalo scores with a nice strike.
Nice straight punches there by Haapasalo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Haapasalo.
Hardy walks straight into a right hand from Haapasalo - that's dropped him! Haapasalo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hardy from any more punishment! Hardy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
