The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hunt is positioning himself well to prevent Li advancing to mount.

Li is looking for a kimura but Hunt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Li to get the leverage.

Li is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt is controlling Li's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hunt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hunt.

Li tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunt is retaining full guard.

Li drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hunt dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Li has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunt has managed to get both his arms back between Li's legs - danger averted.

Li has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hunt should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Li has tightened it up now! Hunt should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
