PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaoklai Khanomtom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Pathernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pathernon's choice of entrance music: Broken - Seether. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khanomtom is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Khanomtom throws out a loose jab but Pathernon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Khanomtom dodges the punch combination from Pathernon.
Pathernon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pathernon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Khanomtom lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pathernon slips a straight right by Khanomtom.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Khanomtom.
Pathernon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Khanomtom scores with a leg kick.

Pathernon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Khanomtom swings for the body but Pathernon moves out of range.
Khanomtom loads up on a big right hand but Pathernon slips the punch.
Pathernon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Khanomtom misses with an uppercut. Pathernon saw that one coming.
Khanomtom fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pathernon manages to avoid it.
Pathernon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Khanomtom to score with a decent uppercut.
A head kick misses from Pathernon.
Khanomtom scores with a shot to the body.
Pathernon looks gassed!
Khanomtom throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Khanomtom lands a brutal uppercut that launches Pathernon off his feet! Pathernon tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
