Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brijwanth J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
J throws a looping overhand right but Kruger ducks down to avoid it.
J misses with a double jab.
Kruger misses the jab.
Kruger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from J.
Cosmo Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruger waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract J.
Kruger cracks J with a right hand to the side of the head.
J fails to land with a series of punches.
Kruger steps into range and cracks J with a monster punch that buckles his knees! J flops backwards and Kruger dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Brijwanth J has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kruger wants to control from the top but J keeps moving.
J is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
J really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kruger is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Kruger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
J is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
J looks gassed!
Kruger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kruger stays in close to J's body and controls the position.
Kruger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kruger postures up in J's guard and throws a big left but J blocks it.
Kruger drops back looking for a leg! J is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and J manages to kick Kruger off! Kruger jumps back into J's guard.

Kruger is pushing down on J's leg trying to pass to half guard. J is fighting to maintain full guard but Kruger has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kruger is nestled in close to J, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kruger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

J on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Kruger is pressing down on J's thigh, looking to free his foot. J is holding on for now.
Kruger seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
J avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kruger.
Kruger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks J with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
J is rocked!
Kruger lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt J quite badly. J pulls Kruger in close trying to recover. Kruger postures up and lands two really hard shots that put J on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but J doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cosmo Kruger!
