PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xv Jobber vX (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 63 - 0, fighting out of London, Xv Jobber vX!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber vX on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Taylor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Taylor postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jobber vX to stand up.

Taylor clinches up against the cage.
Taylor lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Jobber vX jumps guard but Taylor stands there with Jobber vX around his waist. Jobber vX gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Taylor jumps into guard, dragging Jobber vX to the mat.
Jobber vX will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jobber vX wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
Jobber vX throws and elbow that misses. Taylor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jobber vX's guard. Nice move by Taylor!
Taylor landing some decent shots from guard.
Taylor stands and throws Jobber vX's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor advances to full mount.
Jobber vX tries to hold on but Taylor postures up.

Taylor is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jobber vX is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jobber vX flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Taylor anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jobber vX and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Taylor slips an arm under Jobber vX chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Taylor has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Taylor is squeezing on Jobber vX like an anaconda would it's prey. Jobber vX fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
