Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Bordoada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Bordoada!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marshall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marshall lands in his opponent's guard.

Marshall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bordoada has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marshall has managed to get both his arms back between Bordoada's legs - danger averted.

Bordoada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marshall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bordoada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marshall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bordoada has momentary wrist control but Marshall slips an elbow through the middle.
Marshall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
