The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runestorm is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Stafjard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Runestorm is looking to escape.
Stafjard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Runestorm tries to reverse the position but Stafjard maintains control.

Stafjard is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Runestorm is surviving well by controlling Stafjard's body position as best he can.

Stafjard takes Runestorm's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Runestorm is in trouble.
Stafjard is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stafjard is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Runestorm knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Runestorm for a finish.
