Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between prinz baka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mabishiro Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
baka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sakamoto swivels and escapes.

baka pushes Sakamoto up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Sakamoto counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
baka has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sakamoto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

baka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sakamoto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close second round but I would say that prinz baka will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

baka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sakamoto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sakamoto throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! baka escapes and throws Sakamoto's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sakamoto. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
