The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira throws a nice looking combination but Marcus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nogueira misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marcus.
Nogueira misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Nogueira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nogueira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marcus.
Nogueira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nogueira misses with a series of wild punches.
Marcus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nogueira napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Marcus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Marcus drops back looking for a leg! Nogueira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nogueira manages to kick Marcus off! Marcus jumps back into Nogueira's guard.

Nogueira dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Marcus dodges the punch combination from Nogueira.
Nogueira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marcus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice combination there by Nogueira.
Nogueira throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nogueira scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nogueira is looking to wear down Marcus with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nogueira throws a series of strikes that have Marcus backpedaling.
Nogueira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marcus circles away quickly and effectively.
Marcus listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nogueira looks to land a combination but Marcus avoids it well.
Marcus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nogueira's waist but Nogueira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marcus off to one side.

Nogueira throws a combination. Marcus tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Marcus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nogueira.

Apolo Nogueira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allie Marcus.

Nogueira feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Marcus crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
