Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Gerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Marcel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerra comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Marcel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by city of angels. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gerra crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marcel - the referee stops the clock and Gerra gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marcel. Gerra manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Marcel swats away the attempt to clinch by Gerra.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gerra.

and Marcel counters with a straight right hand.
Marcel throws a front kick aimed at Gerra's knee but Gerra avoids it well.

Gerra dives in and grabs Marcel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marcel pushes down on Gerra's head and hops out.

Marcel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gerra moves away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gerra tries to pull guard but Marcel holds him up against the cage and eventually Gerra drops back down to his feet.

Marcel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gerra can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Gerra is tightening it up a little... Marcel has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Marcel reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Marcel taps out! nice BJJ there by Gerra!
