Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett throws a nice outside leg kick.
Garnett looks for a takedown but Cote sprawls well.

Garnett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cote manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Garnett seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cote does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cote jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Garnett walks away with a smile on his face. Cote gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Garnett looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cote with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
