The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sakuraba manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Smith stays in close to Sakuraba's body and controls the position.

Sakuraba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.

Sakuraba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sakuraba wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.
