Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Boy Rune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lincoln Hawk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lincoln Hawk! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rune closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Rune pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rune looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hawk! Rune is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hawk to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hawk shrugs it off. Hawk tries to hold on but Rune postures up. Rune goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hawk turns into him and now he's in Rune's guard.
Rune is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hawk is aware though and is defending well. Rune escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hawk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hawk forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rune looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rune wants to improve his position but Hawk is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rune is defended easily by Hawk. Hawk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rune changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hawk tries to avoid it but Rune manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hawk to the ground. Hawk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bad Boy Rune. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rune closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rune goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hawk rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rune's guard! Nice work there by Hawk! Hawk is looking to stand up but Rune won't let him.

Rune works his way to full guard. Good work. Rune is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hawk is aware though and is defending well. Hawk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rune has his foot on Hawk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hawk works his way back into a safe position though. Rune looking for subs off his back but Hawk has passed one foot through into half guard.

Rune actively working from the bottom here. Hawk moves nicely into side control. Rune is looking to regain half guard here but Hawk keeps moving and retains side control. Rune is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hawk's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hawk throws a right hand that Rune ducks under and follows up with a left that Rune also avoids with ease. Rune closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Rune pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rune shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hawk defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bad Boy Rune. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rune drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rune tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rune has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rune swings around for an armbar but Hawk sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rune's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hawk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rune might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rune throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hawk uses it to pass to side control.
Rune tries to bench press Hawk off him but Hawk keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rune gets back to half guard. Hawk wants to take a breather but Rune is having none of it. Rune is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hawk pulls his head out easily. Rune tries to roll over but Hawk keeps him under control. Rune looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rune actively working from the bottom here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hawk throws a nice looking combination but Rune bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rune shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hawk pinned against the cage. Hawk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A combination from Hawk does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rune will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rune fails with a takedown attempt. Hawk stuffs the takedown attempt from Rune. Rune gets slowly back to his feet. A combination from Hawk does no damage. Hawk throws a nice looking combination but Rune bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hawk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rune. Rune shoots in and drives through. Hawk sprawls well. Rune showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawk.

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rune, into his guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rune is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hawk defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lincoln Hawk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Rune's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
