With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricardo Morientes!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morientes is defended easily by Epoto.
Epoto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morientes.
Epoto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Morientes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Epoto circles away quickly and effectively.

Epoto gets a clinch.
Epoto connects with a nasty looking knee right to Morientes's face.


It looks like Ricardo Morientes has been cut.
Epoto misses with a knee strike.
Epoto lands a knee to the head.
Epoto using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Morientes has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Morientes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Epoto has him pressed against the cage.

Morientes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Epoto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
