Kooch comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Against - The strenght to go on. Lowal is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KING KING KING. Mohammad Lowal acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kooch takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kooch walks into a jab.

Lowal throws a series of punches but Kooch moves out of range.
Lowal throws a looping overhand right but Kooch ducks down to avoid it.
Kooch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kooch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lowal paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lowal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kooch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Lowal might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lowal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kooch moves away.
Lowal slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lowal connects with a right hand. Kooch shakes it off.
Kooch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lowal.
Lowal throws a lazy right hand but Kooch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kooch has his foot on Lowal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lowal works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lowal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kooch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lowal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kooch was well out of range. Poor timing from Lowal.
No joy there for Lowal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lowal connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kooch's hands.
Kooch seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Lowal shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kooch is backing up but Lowal catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kooch covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lowal Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
