Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leslie Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Garelli!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garelli lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Garelli drives through and clinches with Chow against the cage.
Garelli is pushing Chow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Garelli throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Chow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Garelli lands a nice elbow.
Garelli lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Chow.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Garelli lands an elbow that stopped Chow in his tracks for a moment.

Chow takes a knee right on the jaw!
Garelli digs a right hand underneath Chow's ribcage. Chow let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Garelli gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garelli wants to take a breather but Chow is having none of it.

Garelli is thwarting Chow's attempts to control the position.

Garelli looking for a submission but Chow manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Garelli's corner is telling him to maintain position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garelli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Garelli passes Chow's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Garelli thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chow's head.

Garelli fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Garelli steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chow.

Garelli shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chow napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Chow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Joe Garelli has got the better of the ground game so far.
The strikes coming from Garelli are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Garelli in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Chow is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
