The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CANNON tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chapmen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chapmen wants it to stay on the feet.
Chapmen takes a kick to the side of the head.
Chapmen tries to clinch there but CANNON circles away.
Chapmen tries to clinch but CANNON is having none of it.
A head kick misses from CANNON.
Chapmen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
CANNON avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chapmen misses with a two punch combination.

CANNON gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chapmen fails to pull guard.

CANNON escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chapmen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

CANNON rushes Chapmen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
CANNON has Chapmen pushed against the cage.
CANNON tries to land a knee to the head but Chapmen blocks with his arms.
Chapmen fails to pull guard.
Chapmen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Chapmen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

CANNON manages to break the clinch.

and CANNON counters with a body kick that stops Chapmen in his tracks momentarily.
Freddy Chapmen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chapmen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chapmen misses with a jab, cross combination.

CANNON lands a big head kick that sends Chapmen tumbling to the mat! CANNON takes a step backwards and waves Chapmen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Look low, kick high! CANNON uses the oldest trick in the book to send Chapmen tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! CANNON is absolutely delighted - when Chapmen wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
