Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Swertz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Van Der Meyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swertz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chimaira-"End it All". I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Meyde tries to clinch but Swertz is having none of it.
Swertz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Van Der Meyde rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Swertz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Van Der Meyde looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Swertz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Van Der Meyde to score with a decent uppercut.
