The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Vlay is trying to work for a kimura but Aquino is defending well.

Vlay tries a head kick but it misses.
Vlay connects with a solid leg kick.
Aquino wants to clinch up but Vlay keeps it at a distance.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vlay throws a front kick that sends Aquino stumbling back into the cage.

Vlay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Vlay looking for a guillotine from mount but Aquino is having none of it.
