The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Badass.

It looks like Winston Smith has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Badass gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Badass manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.

Smith has his foot on Badass's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Badass works his way back into a safe position though.

Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Winston Smith's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
