Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chael Brownie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gedo Sake!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sake shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brownie sprawls well. Brownie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sake gets slowly back to his feet.
Sake looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Brownie postures up in Sake's guard and throws a big left but Sake blocks it.
Brownie lands a couple of elbows.
Brownie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brownie drops back looking for a leg! Sake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sake manages to kick Brownie off! Brownie jumps back into Sake's guard.
Brownie throws a strike but Sake rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sake is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brownie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sake is looking to defend but Brownie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sake! Brownie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sake taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chael Brownie!
