Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Yankowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yankowy has chosen 1000 Flamen as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yankowy shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yankowy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet.
Yankowy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gracie.

Yankowy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gracie lands a glancing blow to the side of Yankowy's head.
Yankowy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yankowy off to one side.
Yankowy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie sizes up Yankowy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Yankowy slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Yankowy tries to clinch up.
Yankowy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Yankowy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yankowy gets the takedown into side control.
Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yankowy can do to turn this around?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yankowy is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gracie is pushing Yankowy's head away, looking to escape. Yankowy manages to hold on to the position though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yankowy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gracie - the referee stops the clock and Yankowy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gracie. Yankowy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yankowy.

Yankowy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Yankowy has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Gracie.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
