Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Fezzik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zues Egan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fezzik comes to the cage accompanied by How does it Sound?. Hassan Fezzik has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Horrible takedown by Egan or perhaps it was just good defense by Fezzik which made him look bad.
Egan dives in and grabs Fezzik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fezzik pushes down on Egan's head and hops out.
Zues Egan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Egan shoots in and drives through. Fezzik sprawls well.
Hassan Fezzik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zues Egan.
Fezzik lands a right hook to the body.
Fezzik throws a right and a left that Egan avoids nicely.
Fezzik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Egan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fezzik slaps away a takedown attempt from Egan, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Fezzik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Egan.
Egan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fezzik defends it nicely.
Egan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Egan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Egan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fezzik, pushing him back against the cage.
Fezzik wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Egan has him pressed against the cage.
Egan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fezzik fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fezzik throws a looping overhand right but Egan ducks down to avoid it.

and Egan counters by clinching up.

Egan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fezzik off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Egan dives in and grabs Fezzik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fezzik pushes down on Egan's head and hops out.
Fezzik looks to land a left hand but Egan moved out of range nicely.
Fezzik throws a series of punches but Egan avoids them all with ease.
Egan shoots in for a double leg but Fezzik sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Egan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Egan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fezzik wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Egan.
Egan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fezzik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fezzik blocking the ground and pound.
Fezzik avoids a series of strikes thrown by Egan.
Egan throws some wild stikes that Fezzik manages to avoid easily.
Egan lands a nice shot to the head.

Egan is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

A slapping leg kick lands for Egan.
Egan shoots in looking for a takedown. Fezzik tries to sprawl out of it but Egan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fezzik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Egan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fezzik's calf.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Egan.

Fezzik throws a hook but Egan avoids it easily.

Egan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Egan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Egan.
Egan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fezzik gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Zues Egan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Egan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zues Egan.

and Egan counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Egan darts in and clinches Fezzik up against the cage.

Zues Egan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Zues Egan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Egan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
