The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baresi as he avoids it easily.
Baresi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Marja!
Marja tries to reverse the position but Baresi maintains control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Baresi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like Karviais Marja has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marja sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Marja is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marja moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marja looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Baresi is breathing heavily.
Marja tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marja is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marja thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Baresi sitting in guard here, content to control.
Marja throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Baresi won't allow Marja to sweep him here.
Baresi slips nicely into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Marja is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Baresi pulls his head out easily.
Marja flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Marja looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Marja wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Marja gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Baresi counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Marja wants to hit a switch here but Baresi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Marja there!

That has opened up Karviais Marja's cut even more.
Marja is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Baresi is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Baresi!
