These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Victory.
Steele can't do much from the bottom here.

Victory tries to get to full guard but Steele has control of the leg.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Victory looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Steele drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Victory gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Victory wants to get up but he can't break Steele's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
