PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fast Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Tinpu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinpu has chosen Godsmack-Good Day To Die as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vladimir Tinpu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dude feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tinpu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dude wants to control from the top but Tinpu keeps moving.
Dude throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dude throws and elbow that misses. Tinpu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dude's guard. Nice move by Tinpu!
Tinpu won't allow Dude to sweep him here.
Dude on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dude tries to get out of the position.
Tinpu passes Dude's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tinpu passes the guard and advances to mount!
Dude flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Tinpu is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dude is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dude flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Tinpu anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dude and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Tinpu slips an arm under Dude chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Tinpu has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Tinpu is squeezing on Dude like an anaconda would it's prey. Dude fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
