The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HArt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kalashnikov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches HArt napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kalashnikov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalashnikov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kalashnikov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. HArt knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kalashnikov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. HArt is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kalashnikov yanks on the arm and HArt is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kalashnikov.
