PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerald T Inglewood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary ittler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inglewood comes into the arena with Cant Be touched blaring out of the sound system. ittler has chosen Ass n Titties as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald T Inglewood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary ittler!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inglewood moves out of range of the strikes.
ittler misses with a looping left.
A swing and a miss from ittler.
ittler bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Inglewood's head.
Inglewood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Inglewood scores with a head kick.
ittler misses with a hook. Inglewood ducked under it nicely.
ittler looks to land a right hand but Inglewood moved out of range.
Inglewood with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Inglewood moves out of range of the strikes.
Inglewood uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from ittler.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! ittler crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Inglewood - the referee stops the clock and ittler gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Inglewood. ittler manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Inglewood displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as ittler throws out the jab.

Inglewood takes the fight into the clinch.

Inglewood manages to break the clinch.
Inglewood throws a head kick that ittler semi-blocks.


It looks like Gary ittler has been cut.
ittler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
ittler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Inglewood lands a head kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Inglewood feints and then cracks ittler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow ittler down.
ittler throws a hook but Inglewood avoids it easily.

Inglewood uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from ittler.
ittler might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
ittler looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Inglewood.


ittler is rocked!
Inglewood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
ittler loses concentration momentarily and Inglewood pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! ittler crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Inglewood finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gerald T Inglewood!
