Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greig Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matto Luuttu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Duality blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets caught flat footed, as Luuttu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Smith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Luuttu wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Luuttu's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Luuttu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Luuttu has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.

Luuttu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Luuttu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Despite being in the dominant position, Matto Luuttu just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smith has closed the distance and engaged Luuttu in a clinch.

Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Luuttu tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Luuttu drops back down to his feet.

Luuttu jumps guard but Smith stands there with Luuttu around his waist. Luuttu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Greig Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matto Luuttu.

Luuttu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Luuttu finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Luuttu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Luuttu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Luuttu lands a nice short elbow.
