Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bachelor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bachelor misses with a double jab.
Vera lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bachelor at a distance.
Bachelor wants to clinch up but Vera keeps it at a distance.
Bachelor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bachelor blocks a low kick nicely.
Bachelor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bachelor looks to land a combination but Vera avoids it well.
Bachelor tries to clinch up.
Bachelor moves in looking to clinch but Vera pushes him off.
Vera swats away the attempt to clinch by Bachelor.
Bachelor throws a series of punches but Vera avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vera shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bachelor is trying to defend but Vera finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bachelor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bachelor tries to get out of the position.

Bachelor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vera is working away from the top position though.

Bachelor tries to roll over but Vera keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Augusto Vera dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Oooh a lovely combination from Bachelor sends Vera down but not out. Bachelor dives into side control looking to finish.

Vera is rocked!

It looks like Augusto Vera has been cut.
Bachelor throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Vera is trying to improve his position.
Bachelor in side control, throwing shots but Vera defends.

Bachelor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bachelor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ground and pound from Bachelor seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Vera is still in real trouble! Can Bachelor finish him?
Bachelor cracks Vera with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Bachelor immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Vera is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Bachelor!
