The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mac struggling a bit here.

Lucas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mac is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mac has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mac bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lucas's guard.

Mac sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lucas's guard.

Mac maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lucas could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mac has cracked it and Lucas is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mac!
