The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Day's waist but Day gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lima off to one side.
Day moves in looking to clinch but Lima pushes him off.
Day keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Day closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Day wants to free his trapped foot but Lima is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Day thows an elbow strike that misses. Lima gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Day doesn't seem too bothered but Lima quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Day is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Day really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
