Kringle comes to the cage accompanied by Wating on the world to change, by John Mayer. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mike Peterson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kringle missing with a left hand there. Peterson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kringle throws a looping overhand right but Peterson ducks down to avoid it.
Peterson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kringle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kringle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Peterson looks to throw the jab but Kringle is out of range.
Peterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kringle looks to land a left hand but Peterson moved out of range nicely.
Peterson moves out of range of the strikes.
Peterson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kringle misses with a hook.
Chris Kringle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kringle looks to score with a jab to the body but Peterson is just out of range.
Peterson slips a jab from Kringle.
Kringle looks to land a left hand but Peterson moved out of range nicely.
Peterson punishes Kringle's body with a nice straight punch.
Peterson tests Kringle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kringle misses with an uppercut.

Kringle lands a left and a right that send Peterson crashing to the mat, dazed. Kringle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Peterson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Kringle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

letting Peterson counter with a right hand.
Peterson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kringle had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Peterson slips a straight right by Kringle.
Kringle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peterson.
Peterson lands a glancing blow to the side of Kringle's head.
Peterson cracks a nice hook into Kringle's ribs.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Peterson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Peterson lands with a straight right. Kringle didn't see that one coming.

The fighters circling - Kringle throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kringle waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Peterson.
Peterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kringle.

Peterson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Peterson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kringle throws out the jab.

Peterson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Kringle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kringle misses with a looping left.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Peterson, as that shot connected.

letting Peterson counter with a right hand.
Kringle throws a predictable looking body shot
and Peterson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Peterson lands with a hook. Kringle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kringle misses with a hook.
Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kringle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kringle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kringle misses with a few strikes there.
Kringle takes one to the side of the head.
Peterson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kringle.
A jab from Peterson finds it's way through Kringle's defenses.
Kringle looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Peterson looks to land a left hand but Kringle moved out of range nicely.
Peterson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kringle misses with a jab to the body
and Peterson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kringle scores with a decent looking hook.
Kringle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kringle is breathing heavily.
Kringle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peterson to score with a decent uppercut.


Kringle is rocked!
Kringle takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oh Kringle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peterson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kringle right on the button. Kringle goes down! Peterson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Peterson gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Peterson!
