Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tymon Gorski!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hakim Hamsho!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamsho misses with a low kick.
Gorski throws a leg kick but Hamsho moved away.
Nice body punch from Gorski.
Gorski clobbers Hamsho with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gorski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gorski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hamsho swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gorski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gorski tries a head kick but it misses.
Gorski misses with a wild body shot.
Hamsho throws a sloppy head kick
and Gorski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hamsho misses with a leg kick
and Gorski counters with a big head kick but Hamsho shrugs it off.
Hamsho is looking to slow Gorski down with leg kicks.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gorski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hamsho swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hamsho throws a leg kick but Gorski moved away.
Hamsho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gorski throws out the jab.
Gorski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gorski moves in looking to clinch but Hamsho pushes him off.

and Gorski counters with a nice leg kick.
Gorski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gorski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hamsho did well to prevent Gorski getting side control.

Gorski is looking to take a break and control but Hamsho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gorski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gorski wants to work for an arm triangle but Hamsho is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gorski is keen to just control but Hamsho is a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Hamsho counters with a three punch combo that has Gorski backing up. Gorski nods at Hamsho to acknowledge the strikes.

Tymon Gorski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gorski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hamsho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gorski somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hamsho seems to have recovered his senses.
Gorski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Hamsho counters with a left and a right that stings Gorski.

and Hamsho counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hamsho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

and Hamsho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Hamsho counters with an outside leg kick.
Hamsho throws a hook to the side of Gorski's head but Gorski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Hamsho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hamsho scores with a jab. Gorski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hamsho throws a leg kick which misses Gorski's front leg but catches the back leg as Gorski tries to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Hamsho.

and Hamsho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gorski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hakim Hamsho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A cross from Gorski lands.
The fighters circle, before Gorski throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hamsho's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gorski lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
