Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Blank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Snowdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Snowdon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ted Blank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Snowdon!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snowdon wants to clinch.

Blank drives through with a takedown into guard.
Blank slips nicely into half guard.
Blank stalling.
Blank passes to side control.
Blank remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Blank is working Snowdon over with some ground and pound from side control.

Blank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Blank has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Blank scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Blank decides to stand back up.
Snowdon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Blank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blank takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Snowdon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Blank feints and as Snowdon raises his hands in defense, Blank changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blank is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Blank stands and throws Snowdon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Blank is breathing heavily.

Blank has hold of Snowdon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Snowdon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Blank cranks the arm and Snowdon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Snowdon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
