The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rodrigez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Daley - the referee stops the clock and Rodrigez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Daley. Rodrigez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Rodrigez wants to clinch up but Daley keeps it at a distance.
