Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony DeSouza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony DeSouza!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias scores with a three punch combo!

Dias throws a right hand that DeSouza ducks under and follows up with a left that DeSouza also avoids with ease.

Dias moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

DeSouza looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

DeSouza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dias's waist but Dias gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing DeSouza off to one side.
DeSouza tries to move into range but Dias moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

DeSouza is trying to trip Dias. He has hold of a leg but Dias is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. DeSouza persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
DeSouza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dias's guard.
Dias wants to get back to full guard.
DeSouza looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
DeSouza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dias does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
