Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Takanori dos Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid The Choke! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! dos Santos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The Choke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
dos Santos moves into the clinch. dos Santos lands a body shot. dos Santos breaks the clinch.
dos Santos fails to land with a series of punches.
dos Santos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Choke moves away. dos Santos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The Choke looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. dos Santos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's one minute gone in the round. dos Santos loads up on a big right hand but The Choke slips the punch. dos Santos fails to land with a series of punches.
The Choke fails with the takedown and dos Santos finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. The Choke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. dos Santos misses with a two punch combination.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. dos Santos throws a right hand that The Choke ducks under and follows up with a left that The Choke also avoids with ease. The Choke throws a series of punches but dos Santos moves out of range. dos Santos swings and misses with a hook to the body.

dos Santos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Choke sees it coming and avoids it easily. dos Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crunch! dos Santos slams his shin into The Choke's torso. Takanori dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. dos Santos closes the distance and clinches. dos Santos lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Choke looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. dos Santos thows a huge punch but The Choke dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Choke looking for submissions from an awkward position here. dos Santos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The Choke looking for submissions off his back. dos Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but The Choke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Choke slips a straight right by dos Santos. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

dos Santos drives through with a takedown into guard. The Choke utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The Choke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and dos Santos defends well. dos Santos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Choke on the ground. dos Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but The Choke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The Choke throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

dos Santos throws a nice looking combination but The Choke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Choke takes a head kick and keeps coming.
dos Santos looks to land a combination. The Choke sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The Choke keeps the fight on the outside. dos Santos tries to land a front kick but The Choke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. dos Santos scores a takedown into full mount! The Choke is in all sorts of trouble here.
The Choke is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. dos Santos cracks The Choke with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
dos Santos postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. The Choke looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Choke's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The Choke keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, dos Santos cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round. dos Santos lands a big shot there that rocks The Choke but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The Choke really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
dos Santos jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… The Choke is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by The Choke and dos Santos has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The Choke is looking for a sweep. dos Santos throwing strikes but missing, from side control. dos Santos postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The Choke wants to get back to his feet but dos Santos drags him back down. The Choke sneaks back into half guard. The Choke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from dos Santos.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Choke pushes dos Santos off looking to stand but dos Santos dives back in and keeps control.
The Choke gets back to full guard.
The Choke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. dos Santos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. dos Santos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Takanori dos Santos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. dos Santos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on The Choke, up you get! dos Santos gets the takedown into side control. dos Santos throwing shots but missing, from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Choke is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The Choke manages to get to full guard.
dos Santos wants to stand but The Choke has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takanori dos Santos dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
The Choke moves out of range as dos Santos strikes. dos Santos throws a combination that misses and The Choke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. dos Santos throws a series of punches but The Choke avoids them all with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. dos Santos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Choke did well to prevent dos Santos getting side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Choke looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The Choke is pressing down on dos Santos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The Choke has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. dos Santos doesn't defend quickly enough and The Choke has managed to lock this one up! Can dos Santos escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to The Choke on a fantastic submission victory.
