Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Bulit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Bulit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silva Bulit!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones has Bulit up against the cage in a clinch.
Come on Jones - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bulit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bulit has managed to clinch.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bulit's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bulit duly obliges.
Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Bulit. Bulit gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Silva Bulit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A shot to the liver by Bulit. Beautiful body shot.
Bulit stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
Bulit throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.

Bulit gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jones has gone for a leg lock! Bulit slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jones's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bulit's guard.
Jones wants to stand but Bulit has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bulit scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Bulit shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Bulit didn't expect that.
Eddie Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silva Bulit.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bulit regains half guard.

Bulit manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Bulit swinging wildly here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bulit, right into the meat.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bulit's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bulit is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bulit looks gassed!

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Bulit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bulit manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Bulit's guard.

Jones wants to control from the top but Bulit keeps moving.

Jones stands up and waves to Bulit to follow him.
Bulit looks to clinch

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bulit stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bulit counters with a one-two to the body.

Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bulit is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jones gets to his feet. Bulit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.

Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Jones dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bulit dodges the punch combination from Jones.
A head kick by Bulit misses

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bulit won't be happy with that.

Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bulit to his feet.
Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Bulit wants to clinch but Jones slips to the side
and Jones counters with a thumping low kick.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bulit was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones pushing down on Bulit's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Jones seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bulit is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
