The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overdreem looks to land a combination but Marius Nero avoids it well.
Overdreem is looking to clinch but Marius Nero is avoiding it.
Marius Nero throws a head kick but Overdreem moves out of range.
Overdreem doesn't manage to clinch there - Marius Nero circles away.
Marius Nero thumps Overdreem with a low kick.
Marius Nero avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marius Nero lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Overdreem fails in his attempt to clinch.
Overdreem throws a head kick that misses.
Overdreem throws a push kick but Marius Nero slaps the foot to one side.
A head kick by Overdreem misses
and Marius Nero counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Marius Nero connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Overdreem closes the distance but Marius Nero moves to the side
and Marius Nero counters with a nice leg kick.
Overdreem is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marius Nero scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Marius Nero feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Overdreem's calf.
Marius Nero throws a good cross that connects.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marius Nero.
Overdreem has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marius Nero finds it's way round the side to connect with Overdreem's head.
Overdreem circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Marius Nero. Overdreem falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Marius Nero!
