Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kosuki Masahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raikage Sama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sama has chosen I OFFER MY LIFE! as his entrance music. Kosuki Masahara had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raikage Sama!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sama on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Masahara misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Masahara tries to clinch there but Sama circles away.

Masahara moves into range and clinches up with Sama.
Masahara tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sama avoids it.
Masahara drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Masahara gets control of Sama's arms and successfully pulls guard. Masahara will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sama drops back looking for a leg! Masahara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Masahara manages to kick Sama off! Sama jumps back into Masahara's guard.
Masahara is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, if Sama is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Masahara trying to hold on to Sama's head to control him but Sama postures up.

Masahara is not content to let Sama control the position.

Sama is working for a kimura but Masahara is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Masahara is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sama is trying to work for a kimura but Masahara is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Raikage Sama will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Masahara wants to clinch.

Masahara misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sama closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Masahara did well to prevent Sama getting side control.

Sama maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Masahara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sama has cracked it and Masahara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sama!
