The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakovlev has wallace up against the cage in a clinch.
Yakovlev on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on wallace's face as he tries to break the clinch.
wallace using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yakovlev has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Yakovlev prevents the takedown attempt.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yakovlev lands a nice short elbow.

wallace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Yakovlev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around wallace's waist but wallace gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yakovlev off to one side.

wallace reaches up and pulls Yakovlev towards him, trying to control the position. Yakovlev manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for wallace! wallace tries to roll over - now Yakovlev is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and wallace has to tap out! Great work there by Yakovlev!
