Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sambo Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by DJ Dee Kline - I don't smoke da reefa. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn throws a jab but it's blocked by Robinson.
Robinson fails with the takedown.
Robinson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Quinn defends it nicely.
Quinn stuffs the takedown attempt from Robinson. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sambo Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Quinn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Sambo Robinson has been cut.

Robinson feints and as Quinn raises his hands in defense, Robinson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Quinn slaps away a takedown attempt from Robinson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Quinn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quinn sprawls well. Quinn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Quinn.

Sambo Robinson's cut is getting worse.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robinson.

Quinn lands a nice hook to Robinson's body. Robinson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Quinn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Robinson.
Quinn tries to bum rush Robinson with a series of wild strikes but Robinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Robinson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Quinn has closed the distance and engaged Robinson in a clinch.
Quinn stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Quinn lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Quinn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Robinson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Quinn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A bit of stalling here from Quinn.
Robinson is trying to drag Quinn to the mat but Quinn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Robinson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quinn lands a big right hand that sends Robinson crashing to the mat! Quinn stays standing though and waves Robinson back to his feet!

Robinson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Quinn cracks Robinson with a left hook right on the temple and Robinson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Quinn lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Robinson is OK!
